We live in Colorado at 9165 feet.We are soaring high up here!There are quite a few places to go birding around here.Our 2 favorite places to bird are: Manitou Lake and Fountain Creek Nature Center.Manitou Lake is about 20 minutes from our home and Fountain Creek is a little over an hour away.
Our favorite place to go to pick out a new member of our flock is: The Gabriel Foundation in Elizabeth Colorado,we adopted 4 of our 5 birds here.We highly recommend The Gabriel Foundation,there are a lot of birds there that could use a home!
We collect all kinds of bird and birding books and many different kinds of bird decor most from the local Goodwills,always on the hunt for something bird.
