Today was his day to bird

So today he went Birding and as I figured he trumped me in his count and his ability to identify the different kinds of birds.He also went to Fountain Creek Regional Park.He saw 21 species and he added 2 to his list,a Hooded Mersanger and the Common GoldenEye.Some others he saw were American Coot,Blue Heron,Northern Shovelers ( which he said there was a large group of them that were swimming in a circle like a large whirlpool) Belted Kingfisher, Canvas Back,and a Bald Eagle which he says is always a treat to see and he flew right over him and rather low.He said it was cold and windy he wished he had a warmer jacket but said it was so worth it.He said was a good birding day.
